About the name
Takibi means fireplace or campfire in Japanese.
Kibix is the red druid-wizard gathering others who want to do Magic around the campfire.
Kibix is the brother of Zordix, the blue druid-wizard that was originally created in the 1980s by the founder of both companies with these names in Umeå, Sweden.
About the founder
The founder of Kibix, Matti Larsson, has a master’s degree in Computer Science from Umeå University. His work spans over 20 years in leading positions in the gaming industry. His legacy includes introducing over 100 people in Umeå to making their first contributions to the industry in commercial games released to a global audience.
