About KIBIX

A Place to Gather and Create.

Kibix is inspired by the Japanese word Takibi, or campfire. It’s a simple idea: the best work usually happens when people gather around a shared spark. Located in Umeå, we’ve built a creative space where game developers, filmmakers, and creators can connect and collaborate without the friction of typical office life.
Founded by Matti Larsson, Kibix draws on over 20 years of experience in the local games industry. We see ourselves as a “lifespace”—a hub that balances high-end tools with a relaxed, community-driven atmosphere.
